DISKREET And WHITECHAPEL To Headline Label Tour In July

June 18, 2007

DISKREET and WHITECHAPEL will kick off their upcoming tour together July 1 at The Muse in Nashville, Tennessee. Each will perform selections from their Siege of Amida/Candlelight debuts. The tour will also feature THE RED DEATH and THE PARTISANE TURBINE.

Released in early April, "Infernal Rise" is the debut EP from Topeka-based DISKREET. Together since late 2003, the band has developed a huge following in their native Kansas. Ripping up the stage with a hugely diverse range of ground breaking acts, the band refuse to be pigeonholed into any one genre.

"The Somatic Defilement" is the full-length debut from Knoxville's WHITECHAPEL. Hitting stores July 31, the album, mastered by Alan Douches (NILE, THE RED CHORD, THE ACACIA STRAIN),fuses together the sheer brutality of death metal, the chaos and technicality of grindcore, the bludgeoning heaviness of sludge, with an added dash of groove on top. A noted characteristic is WHITECHAPEL's three-guitar assault; without a doubt and impressive apocalyptic sound. A video for the song album track "Vicer Exerciser" is available at this location.
